World Card Making Day

It may no longer be World Card Making Day across the US, but it still is WCMD here in Washington! Woot! I've been working toward finishing fabricraft #3 all day and took a short break to make a couple of simple thank you cards. My craft room is an absolute disaster! It's a wonder I was able to make anything in that room. Ha! I really need to clean, but I let my giant box of washi on my desk guide my crafting instead. I had a Studio Calico stamp set out on my desk and a scrap of paper. I searched for my favorite teal ink (introduced to me by my friend Kirsty) and cleared a space to make these two cards.

It was nice to get my fingers inky today. Even if I haven't been in the craft room I have been getting crafty. I've completed one blanket (almost 2!!!!!!) and a burlap wrapped wreath in the past week in the name of my 2012 goals. I've still got some scrapping and blogging to do, so I'll definitely be back with more crafty fun soon. In the meantime I hope you got the chance to make at least a card today!
