Mami Doodle Blog Hop!

Hope you are having a very spooky Friday! It is a very exciting day here at Mami Doodles. We want to welcome the three *newbie* additions to our design team! They are ::drum roll:: Frances, Jenn , and Pam. I can't wait for you to see their AWESOME craftiness! In honor of our new additions, we're doing a blog hop today, to make sure you will say hi to the NEWBIE Kids on the Block. If you hopped from my buddy Ren-Yi's blog, then you're right on track. And to give you a little more incentive, Elisa is in a very generous mood. We have freebies AND prizes to give away. Are you ready?

Freebie 1

  • "Scary Mummy", but you need a password. Hint: it's in the DT's posts!
Freebie 2
Prizes
  • Want to win 4 Christmas digis of your choice? We are drawing winners on *each* DT blog. That gives you TEN chances to win! All you have to do is tell me is what kind of Christmas or other holiday must-have traditions you have.
Shall we get on with the challenge? The theme this week is Black & Orange, in honor of Halloween. I used The Witch digi from the Mami Doodles store and coupled it with some dpp from Authentique's Glow collection. I am in love with this little witch and Authentique's paper. :) Here's my card and a few close ups:

I haven't seen daylight in a few days (and we're not discussing what my cat did to my lightbox *sigh*) so I am going to retake these photos on Saturday. Pardon me for now. :D Hope you enjoy my card and what the rest of the team has posted. And be sure to drop in and stalk a newbie or two! (PASSWORD HINT: the only "n" word in the previous sentence!) Your next stop is the incredibly bewitching Wendy!

And in case you got lost, here's the entire blog hop list... Elisa
Frances
Jackie
Jenn
Lisa
Manuela
Pam
Ren-Yi

  1. Gorgeous card, love the image. Traditionally we always make rum butter at Christmas and spread it on toast for breakfast. Carol x

  6. Hi Stephanie
Wow how cute and sweet this card is! I really love the color combination you picked for this project and how it all came so nicely together. Amazing! The gemstones you used really finish off the card well. This might sound strange but I really love how you displayed the card on the top of the old fashioned typewriter it makes it even more magical.
When it comes to my must have traditions - I decorate my Christmas tree on the 1st of December and the whole living room as well. It creates great atmosphere and also brings out my Christmas spirit. Christmas would not be Christmas for me if all my family members and relatives did not come together.
    Happy Halloween and Happy Crafting!
